The Ball de Bastons dance is one of the deeply rooted traditions of our country.

In this dance, the dancers carry a wooden stick in one hand. Following a melody they interpret a pre-established choreography whilst hitting the sticks carried by the other partners in the group rhythmically.

Why should we learn to dance in our Singing Week?

We think that it is a nice complementary activity since those who participate will have the opportunity to see that this is a dance where coordination, sound and rhythm are essential and that the result mostly depends on the performance of the rest of the group.

This activity is free and complements the rest of the free time activities proposed by the Singing Week.

 We encourage you all to participate in this new proposal.  There is no age limit.  Bring comfortable clothes.  Be willing to enjoy yourselves and do exercise whilst learning a little about our popular culture.

Inscriptions will be held at check-in

Summer, Tarragona, sea, everything is conducive to a dinner on the beach accompanied by havaneres and cremat.
